Our Specialized Services

Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy sessions are held in a cozy home office in Cambridge or via video chat from anywhere in Ontario. Each session lasts 60 minutes, with availability from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Many extended health care benefits may cover part of the cost of working with a Registered Psychotherapist. A free 15-minute phone consultation is available to all, to help you get started.

An Eclectic Approach
We utilize a mix of techniques from Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) , and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) based on the client's needs. We teach skills for practicing mindfulness, tolerating distress and managing emotions, while also understanding maladaptive thinking patterns and coping skills learned in early life. We believe that there is no one perfect approach, and that techniques can be molded to fit each individual client.

Personalized Care
Our psychotherapy services offer a personalized approach to address a wide range of mental health concerns. We work collaboratively with clients to explore their unique experiences and challenges, guiding them towards self-discovery, resilience, and emotional well-being. Building a strong connection between the client and therapist, often known as the "therapeutic alliance" is imperative to a great therapy experience.
